YaoWanqiang, a male,PhD, the professor, and the doctoral supervisor, was born in July 1966.
Dean of Graduate School of Xi 'an University of Science and Technology, leader of the 7th Discipline of Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology, principal of Shaanxi Geospatial Information Engineering Technology Research Center School. He is also a member of the ISM Committee of International Mine Surveying, a member of the Teaching Steering Committee of Surveying and Mapping Majors in Institutions of higher Education of the Ministry of Education in 2018-2022, vice chairman of Shaanxi Society of Surveying and Mapping and Geoinformation, a member of the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping, and an expert of dissertation evaluation in the Academic degree center of the Ministry of Education.

He is mainly engaged in surveying and mapping geographic information science research, and his research fields include 3S integration and geographic spatial-temporal dynamic monitoring, GNSS space environment measurement, mine SLAM and intelligent mine, and remote sensing of regional ecological security
